About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Engineering to lead our full-stack engineering organization—including hardware, embedded systems, and software development. This critical leadership role reports into the CTO and works closely with the CEO, CTO, and Product team to deliver best-in-class mobile devices and companion mobile applications. You will be responsible for shaping and executing our engineering strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring our products are built with performance, scalability, and child safety in mind.



Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Vision

- Drive the engineering roadmap across hardware and software platforms in alignment with product and business goals.

- Set high standards for system architecture, security, scalability, and quality assurance across all development efforts.

- Lead design and delivery of embedded firmware, mobile & device application functionality, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.


Hardware and Firmware Oversight

- Oversee global hardware engineering and manufacturing development.- Execution and Performance Tracking

- Ensure reliability, compliance, and performance of embedded systems and device firmware.

- Manage device testing, certification, and product launch processes.

Software Development Oversight

- Lead engineering teams responsible for OS dev on devices, mobile app dev, platform services, infrastructure and QA.

- Champion agile methodologies, CI/CD, and best practices to ensure consistent delivery and high-quality user experiences.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Support teams to translate product requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.

- Participate in strategic planning and budgeting discussions with executive leadership.


Team Building & Management

- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing, cross-disciplinary engineering team.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Customer & Compliance Focus

- Deliver engineering solutions that set the standard for safety, security, & compliance to serve our customers and their families.

- Maintain awareness of and adherence to relevant compliance standards (COPPA, CCPA, GDPR, FCC, etc.).



About You:

You are an inspiring technical leader with a hands-on approach and a passion for building innovative products that have a positive social impact. Your Experience:

Experience: 8+ years in engineering leadership roles, with experience managing both hardware and software teams; background in consumer electronics, IoT, or wearable technology preferred.


Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of embedded systems, OS and mobile development, cloud infrastructure, and system integration.


Leadership: Proven ability to scale and manage distributed engineering teams and lead complex product development cycles.

About the role:

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Sr. Operations Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our products to customers and maintaining the highest standards of service. In this role, you’ll lead operational excellence in two critical areas of our business: customer service and supply chain logistics. 



Key Responsibilities:

Project & Operational Leadership

- Lead strategic initiatives & cross-functional projects from ideation through execution across the CS, fulfillment, and ops teams.

- Partner with leadership to develop and implement operations roadmaps that align with company OKRs.

- Define project scopes, goals, success metrics, and timelines to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.

- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and proactively propose and implement process improvements.

- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration across stakeholders, ensuring accountability and alignment.


Logistics & Partner Coordination

- Identify process improvements to enhance shipping accuracy, efficiency, and cost control.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to logistics and transportation.

- Support high-level logistics strategy, with a focus on long-term scalability and performance.

- Coordinate with the Inventory Manager and procurement teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.


Customer Success
- Analyze customer service metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager to refine policies, improve response times, and ensure SLA adherence.

- Help shape strategies for customer support that reflect our brand and mission-driven values.

- Working with Head of Product, Implement systems for capturing and acting on customer feedback across departments.

Internal Operations & Team Support

- Support HR coordination efforts in onboarding, team communications, and company-wide operational rhythms.

- Build dashboards, reports, and systems to enable data-driven decision-making.

- Contribute to a culture of operational excellence, transparency, and mission alignment.



About You:

You’re someone who’s a self-starter and results-driven individual, passionate about driving the success of a company servicing kids and families, delivering high-quality experiences that delight our customers and are eager to contribute to the growth of an innovative startup.


Your Experience:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably with a focus on customer service and logistics.


Education:Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our content creation, management, and community engagement efforts at Cosmo. This individual will be at the forefront of an exciting creative playground with big opportunities to take our storytelling to the next level. You’ll own the full lifecycle of content - from ideation to creation to analytics - across our primary social media channels (IG and YouTube). You’ll also help craft a strategy for growing and repurposing content on our secondary platforms (Tiktok, FB, LinkedIn). You’ll have the chance to pioneer new formats and approaches for brand and creator storytelling in line with Cosmo’s content vision. You’ll own Cosmo’s social content calendar, work with & manage creative partners, and actively engage with our audience across channels to explode Cosmo’s online presence. Key Responsibilities: 

Strategy & Direction: Collaborate with stakeholders across Cosmo (Marketing, Product, Executive team, etc.) to develop quarterly content strategies, sourcing new ideas for fresh content, partners, campaigns and approaches to grow Cosmo’s following, engagement, and brand awareness.

Content Creation & Development: Manage the creation and development of all social media content from concept to brief to edits to final product. This includes some filming & editing of brand content as well as managing delivered content (influencers, UGC, working with external editors, etc.)

Content Calendar Ownership: Take full ownership of the social media content calendar from planning to delivery, ensuring it aligns with our mission, brand objectives, product launches, and key initiatives.

Community Management & Engagement: Engage consistently and dynamically with our community across channels, key partners, brands, and new niches to expand Cosmo’s reach and deepen our community engagement.

Partner & Creator Management: Identify and build relationships with potential partners (brands, creators, etc.) through social channels that align with Cosmo’s values and mission. Build and manage strategic relationships toward dynamic campaigns and content that build Cosmo’s audience and engagement.

Social Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on monthly metrics for all owned social channels, providing insights to guide future strategy.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience (3-5 years minimum) managing and growing mid-to-larger sized social media channels and creating original content.

- Robust portfolio of both original created content and managed content (i.e. creative briefs for UGC, influencers, etc.)

- Experience with today’s most common social media creative, management, and analytics tools (e.g., Capcut, Canva, Loomly, etc.).

- Strong understanding of community management and engagement best practices.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Collaborative and creative mindset with the ability to “think outside the box” and work well with cross-functional teams.

- A passion for staying up-to-date with social media trends and the latest digital marketing strategies.

- A proactive, positive and adaptable attitude in a fast-paced environment.
