Yes, JrTrack 5 and the Cosmo Mission Control parent app are compatible with any smartphone with iOS (Apple) or Android (Samsung, etc.) operating systems. Once your watch arrives, all you need to do is download the Cosmo Mission Control parent app from Google Play/Apple App Store and pair your watch. Using the Mission Control app on your phone, you'll be able to see your child's location, manage settings, approve contacts, and more!

JrTrack 5 is the only kids smartwatch that's built to grow with your child. Parents/guardians can review a growing library of kid-safe apps with the Cosmo App Station, including apps like Spotify, Spotify Kids, The Week Junior News, and more! Select apps to download and set daily time limits on apps you select. It's ready when they are!

How do SOS and 9-1-1 calling work?

Safety is at the core of JrTrack 5. We've built an amazing safety system to give parents complete pace of mind.

  • SOS Mode: Kids can quickly and discreetly trigger SOS alerts to the primary parent/guardian phone. The watch will automatically start active tracking and silently pick up calls without ringing while enabled.
  • 9-1-1 Calling: Parents can enable this feature from settings on the watch. When enabled, kids will see 911 emergency as an available contact in their contact list. If a parent feels a child isn't ready for this feature, no worries - just disable any time.

 

How do SafeZones work?

SafeZones are a parent-favorite feature that provide periodic updates to let you know your child is where they're supposed to be. With SafeZones, you can set designated geographic areas from the parent app (e.g. Home, School, etc.). You'll receive a check in notification any time your child enters or leaves a designated area based on your Location Settings and how frequently you've requested auto-location updates (e.g. every 5, 10, 30 minutes, etc.)
