Refresh location with a single tap
We’ve made location updates simpler and speedier than ever. Refresh location simply by tapping on your child’s profile icon to refresh and see the latest. Presto!
Introducing Active Tracking!
Get faster-than-never updates with all-new Active Tracking enabled. Want to make sure they’re coming home for dinner? Track them across the neighborhood for peace of mind and see rapid location updates.
Simply tap “Tracking” in the bottom right view on your map (formerly “live tracking”) to enable receiving rapid location updates for 15 minutes:
- JrTrack 4: Automatic updates every minute
- JrTrack 5: Automatic updates every 10 seconds
Pro tip: Active Tracking will drain JrTrack battery significantly faster. Optimize battery by turning off Active Tracking once its no longer needed, as well as setting less frequent background refresh rate (see below)
Optimize Battery Performance
You can tailor background location updates & optimize battery to meet your needs! Want the best battery life? Set less frequent background updates (e.g. every 30 or 45 min) and simply refresh location when you need it. Want more frequent updates to know if they've left a SafeZone? Set more frequent auto updates (e.g. every 5-15 min).
Tap your child’s profile > select the Grey gears icon above the map > Tap "Location Settings" > select your background update Frequency.
