This is an automatic update, so just ensure your watch has at least 50% battery and good connection (Wi-Fi recommended). The update will be available to all JrTrack 3 devices by Mid-March.

ONE
Three-Click SOS
Reduce accidental activations of SOS Mode
Instead of tapping the power button twice, activating SOS mode will now require a triple-tap. This reduces the chance of accidental activation, while maintaining a quick and discreet way to activate the feature.
After the triple-tap, there will still be a 15 second countdown before SOS mode is activated, to give a chance to cancel if activated accidentally.
As before, SOS mode does not notify police. It only notifies the parent app primary admin and any guardians of the SOS status, and initiates live tracking for 15 minutes. To learn more about SOS, see our user guide.

Weather App
Picking the right jacket just got easier!
If you’re planning your outfit for the day or checking your chances of a snow day this week, our brand new weather app will help keep your child informed.
You can scroll down to see both the hour-by-hour forecast for the rest of the day, as well as the 7-day forecast for your selected location.
Scroll all the way down to the settings, and you can also view the weather for any other location, or change your units to either Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Bluetooth
Pair with Bluetooth devices.
Speakers, Earbuds, you name it! If it's got Bluetooth, JrTrack 3 can now pair with it.
You can access Bluetooth on the watch by going to Settings > Bluetooth. From here you can toggle it on or off, and select which device you’d like to pair with. You can now pair your watch with earbuds, speakers, and more!
*Bluetooth is currently limited to music, and calls cannot yet be routed through a connected bluetooth device.

Quick Settings
Don't call it control center!
To access Quick Settings, long-press the power button. Here you can access Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, brightness, volume , toggle mute, flashlight, device check-in, main settings, power off, and restart. Simply tap the +/- on the brightness and volume to adjust. Swipe up to see the rest of the quick settings options.

Audio Message Transcription
Listen and read messages while you’re on the go!
When sending a voice/audio message from the JrTrack 3 to Primary or Guardian*, the watch will now send a text transcription of the message together with the audio recording.
By default, this feature is disabled. To enable it, open the watch and go to Settings > Device settings > Text options, Transcribe voice notes. Here you can enable or disable the feature.
*Audio message transcription is only available for Guardians and the Primary Mission Control Admin. Contacts cannot yet receive transcriptions.
SIX
Watch-Set Alarms
Now they'll never miss a meeting.
Kids can now create their own alarms from the watch, in addition to viewing the parent-created alarms set from the parent app. They can add an alarm name, start time, days of the week and enable/disable each alarm they've set on the watch.
To set an alarm, open the yellow alarms app on the watch and tap “New alarm”
This is great for allowing your child to build responsibility and create healthy routines! (Or just not be late!)
SEVEN
Location Check-Ins
We made "I've arrived and I'm safe" into a button.
Kids can now send a location update to the parent through the watch by doing a “check-in”. Accessible through the quick settings menu.
To send a Check-in, hold the power button until the quick settings menu appears. Then, scroll down and tap the location pin icon, which will then turn to a green check. You've checked in!
When activated, it will send a Check-in notification and the current location to the parent app.

How can I update my watch?
Can I take calls while connected to Bluetooth?
No, calls are currently unsupported for Bluetooth.
How do I enable Audio Message Transcription?
To enable Audio Message Transcription, open the watch and go to Settings > Device settings > Text options > Transcribe voice notes.
*Only available for Guardians and Mission Control Parent App Primary account.
Does Audio Message Transcription work in group chats?
Yes! As long as everyone in the group is an approved Guardian, than Audio Message Transcription will work in group chats.
Can parents see alarms set by kids?
No, parents cannot see alarms set by kids from the parent app. However, kids can see alarms set by parents, and they can't change or delete them.
Will alarms still go off during school mode?
When School Mode is active, the alarm will vibrate and show what it's for, but it will not make noise during school mode.
How many alarms can you set?
There is no limit to the number of alarms you can set on the watch.
Can check-ins be sent during school mode?
Yes, check-ins can be sent during school mode.
