Our family-safe operating system – COSM(OS) – is a next-generation closed-ecosystem built to revolutionize family connection. Instead of flimsy parental controls or band-aid monitoring software, COSM(OS) starts from the ground up to build families a better digital home. It’s the future of family tech that brings people together, and we’re just getting started!
What features will the StartPhone have on day one?
The StartPhone journey is just beginning! We’ll be launching the device with the core functions families need like 4G LTE calling, true text messaging, custom parental contact approvals and settings, GPS tracking & safe zones, and important functional apps like reminders, calendar, calculator, and more. There’s lots more exciting features to come!
What features are coming later this summer and fall?
We will be adding exciting and powerful new features to the StartPhone later this year! These include: Video calling, a parental insights dashboard, customized healthy habit settings and prompts, and a curated family-safe app store.
Will the StarPhone have a web browser?
To keep kids safe and give parents the control they need, we’ve protected the StartPhone from native internet browsers. In the future, parents may be able to add a kid-safe browser option from our the family app store if they desire.
What network does the StartPhone use?
StartPhone will run on T-Mobile’s reliable nationwide 4G LTE network.
How much will the StartPhone cost?
We’re committed to making kid-safe tech accessible for all families. The StartPhone will retail for $119.99. Each COSMO StartPhone will require a COSMO Membership for an affordable monthly fee, including unlimited talk, text, and data and access to the Mission Control app and full suite of COSMO features.
